Warranty Terms & Conditions

1. Warranty Coverage
JCS Parts will repair or replace any product that does not perform to specification during:

  • The 3-month Standard Warranty, or
  • The Extended Warranty period, beginning on the delivery date.

If no delivery proof exists, delivery is assumed to be 3 business days after dispatch.

2. Additional Rights
Warranty benefits are in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

3. Proof of Purchase
An invoice or paid order confirmation must be provided to make a warranty claim.

4. Troubleshooting
Customers must follow all troubleshooting and instructions provided by JCS Parts staff.

5. Faulty on Arrival
If an item arrives damaged, photographic evidence must be supplied before repair or replacement is approved.

6. Repair or Replacement
JCS Parts may choose to:

  • Repair the product, or
  • Replace it with the same or equivalent product

Replacements may vary in size or specifications.

A replacement does not extend or restart the warranty period.

7. If the Product Cannot Be Repaired or
Replaced

JCS Parts may offer:

  • Store credit, or
  • A refund (excluding delivery cost)

8. Transport for Warranty Claims
If authorised, JCS Parts will:

  • Arrange courier pickup
  • Cover transport costs within Australia

Customers outside Australia may be required to send products to an Australian repair centre.

9. Repair Centre Location
JCS Parts will determine the correct authorised repair location.

10. Risk During Transport
Products are at the customer’s risk during transit to and from the repair centre.

11. No-Fault-Found ClaimsJCS Parts may charge the customer if the product is found to be in working order.

12. Performance AssessmentJCS Parts may reasonably determine whether the product meets its specifications.

13. Warranty TransferWarranties are transferable to a new owner if JCS Parts is notified within 7 days via 1300 363 593.

14. Extended Warranty Purchase Window
Extended Warranties can be purchased up to 14 days after delivery.

15. Effect of Extended Warranty
The Extended Warranty replaces the standard 3-month warranty period.

16. Warranty TerminationJ
CS Parts may cancel an Extended Warranty if the product is used outside its specifications.

No pro-rata refund will be issued.

17. Warranty Exclusions
Warranties do not apply to products:

  • Used, installed or maintained incorrectly
  • With altered or removed serial numbers
  • Damaged by misuse, accidents, fire, liquid, power issues, thunderstorms or unauthorised repairs
  • Damaged during transport (unless otherwise allowed in these terms)
  • Containing third-party hardware or software not originally included
  • Where the failure is unrelated to product performance
  • Requiring replacement of consumables (batteries, lamps, cables etc.)
  • Requiring software support beyond restoring factory settings
  • Serviced outside Australia

18. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • JCS Parts is not liable for loss of data, programs, profits or revenue, or any indirect damages
  • Total liability is limited to the purchase price or replacement with a similar product
  • All other warranties not required under law are excluded

19. Governing Law
These warranty terms follow South Australian law.

Any disputes fall under the jurisdiction of South Australian courts.

20. Australian Consumer Law Statement
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to:

  • A replacement or refund for a major failure
  • Compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage
  • Repair or replacement if goods fail to meet acceptable quality and the failure is not major
