About Hyundai iLoad and Hyundai iMax
Between 1997 and 2007 Hyundai supplied the first generation known as H200, H-1 or Starex van depending on the market. It had initially a 2.5L diesel engine as could be configured as a van, people mover and minibus. This received a number of facelifts in 2002 and 2007 and a more powerful turbo diesel 2.5L engine.
The second generation Grand Starex was released in 2007 with a larger capacity and stronger 2.4L CRDi 4-cylinder engine and the option of a 6-speed manual gearbox. In Australia, the van was called the Hyundai iLoad and the people mover the Hyundai iMax.
Both the van and people mover versions of the Starex were replaced by the Staria in 2021.
