About Toyota HiAce
First release in the late 60s in Japan, Toyota HiAce has come in a wide array of configurations including minivan, camper, panel van and pickup.
Four generations were released through the 70s, 80s and 90s, establishing the HiAce as one of the most popular van platforms in Australia.
The fifth generation model (H200) released in 2004 was a wider long-wheelbase model and was incredibly popular both as a commuter minivan and as a commercial delivery van.
The current sixth generation H300 HiAce includes LWB Van, LWB Crew Van, SLWB Van, SLWB Commuter and SLWB Commuter GL variants. These come in a range of engines from 2L and 2.7L petrol engines to 2.5, 2.7, 2.8 and 3L diesel engines.
